Cabin heating. Need help
« on: 08 May 2010, 13:50:54 »

I don’t have heat in the cabin.
The HBV seems to be ok.
But the water circulation pump to the cabin.
don’t get the +12v
I looked at relay diagram on the
Common Issues and FAQ forum.
(X25XE and X30XE V6 Petrol)
The Relay (Code  K22  Pump coolant) is responsible of another pump, and it’s working
Does anyone know what relay or fuse nourishing this pump?

Try pulling the vacuum pipe out of the top of the HBV and check there is a vacuum with the engine running. If there is then check the cabin heater with the vacuum pipe off, if you get heat then the HBV need changing. If it doesn't then the heater matrix is blocked. If you have no vacuum at the pipe on the HBV then it's a vacuum fault somewhere, trace the pipework back looking for leaks :y

the 12 volt pump is only there to provide circulation of coolant when the engine is stopped, otherwise your engine's belt driven water pump will provide a flow through your matrix & HBV. You could have a partial obstruction in the matrix or as Welung is suggesting, your HBV is not operating correctly.  :y
