First cold morning went to use my Transits heated screen and only half works. Does anyone know where its connected and is it accessible?
Had screen replaced in summer so faults been there for a while

I cleaned up the headlights today and wanted to remove the small piece under the light . I removed grommet then tried to pull section out ,does it have more fixings somewhere or was i just afraid of breaking it? thanks for help

Omega General Help / power sounder

Just a couple of questions just to reassure me please,ive disconnected the sounder and taped up the connector. I take it i can discard the actual sounder unit now but must leave the horn in place.
The sounder made no noise at all when disconnected,is that strange?

After MOT advisories and car pulling to the left decided to change wishbones and idler. Got vx idler on order today £93! Recently got Lemforder wishbones from carpartsforless £150 however they now dont come with new bolts so enquired about cost from vx and its £35 so i was wondering is it ok to re-use the three nuts and bolts?

Omega General Help / Passed MOT but......

Got Mig through MOT today which was great but i've got a few advisories which hopefully you top men can help me fix with some laymans instructions.
The advisory items are:
1  Nearside (idler)Steering pivot point has slight play
2  Nearside front lower (foremost) suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement
3  Offside front lower (foremost) suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement
4 Front tyres /wheels appear distorted when rotated
Can anyone tell me which actual parts can be replaced and what they are called thank you

Hello, i noticed i'm getting a slow drip from the radiator drain plug, can this be fixed or is it possible to just rep[lace valve by its self ,thanks for any help

After taking general advice didnt go for corsa with outstanding finance,i am now going for a corsa which the guy admits he bought recently at auction(fair enough) its priced about right , the only thing is its still on the last owners v5 name . The guy said its to save another owner on v5 which seems fair ,im going to see tomorrow PM with view to buy ,what do i need to see on v5 should the previous owner have signed bottom section? what do you all think, thank you as always

Hello fellow OOFERS i'm looking for some advice regarding car buying. My son is looking on gumtree and found a Corsa he likes the look of about 60miles away in Shoeburyness. I rang the guy and all seems genuine and 3k sounds about right. I arranged to view on saturday 14th but just before finishing conversation he pointed out outstanding finance on the corsa , he said if we agreed a deal he would get his sister to clear finance using her card and get email from finance company sent immediately to print off and give to me as proof. What do you all think? The car does look good so dont want to be put off too quickly
