Are bosch super plus spark plugs ok to use in my 2.6? or is the general thinking to use genuine GM ones

Can anybody please advise on electric cookers my dear Ma is not coping well with the gas one ,getting confused and forgetful. Can anyone recommend a free standing cooker which actually clearly shows when a ring is on , i.e. elderly mother proof any help well appreciated

When considering changing the cambelt what parts will i need ,do i need a new water pump, think doing it myself is too risky so would i be best getting genuine bits or pattern, then approach garage with parts and get a quote. One last thing what are the costs involved, would hate to ruin my car after finally getting it back on the road by neglecting cambelt ,thanks for help

After my previous post (EML light on) i was getting codes using pedal 0100 and another 0100 this indicated maf problem. Omegod promply supplied me a used maf so i fitted that,i also noticed a small black breather pipe was disconnected from switch?on main air intake pipework where they split into two before throttles so i re-connected that as well. Tried car and EML still on, took car out and runs fine. Parked up and when used car again light was out and stayed out .What i'm asking is can fault light re-set itself after fault cured or do they need to be cleared?Also what are the black tubes connected to various points could they have caused the eml light to come on with one not connected?

EML on read codes using pedal trick seems to be 0100 (low/high voltage maf sensor) does this indicate new maf sensor needed or is there something else to do any help greatly appreciated,

Hello all my 2002 2.6omega has all of a sudden decided not to start,engine turns over but won't fire ,when ignition turned on spanner light and engine picture flash together and there is a rapid clicking from throttle housing(throttle opening/closing )housing could this be a relay or ECU fault?any help greatly received

Hoping someone can put their finger on this one. OK i had to take my Ommy off the road over winter due to being a bit strapped for cash, however i'm now planning to go back on the road 1st June, I charged the battery and it started second turn of the key so parked in driveway. The following day went to start it for MOT and only just started after nearly killing battery,passed MOT ok,but now only starts after about 6-7 turns of key then it runs fine. I seem to remember last year when turning ignition on it made a whirring sound as if something was powering up the noise is not apparent now .
Any ideas ,sorry for big blog but wanted to give whole story thank you
