Babies...babies....babies.
« on: 01 August 2006, 22:15:13 »

Ok sorry this isnt car related but i just had to share this or im gonna burst.

Today gemma had her first scan and she"s having TWINS...we both sat there watching these two little blobs with hart beats thumping away,My god im not a particularly emotional bloke but the eyes starting welling up and the grin was from ear to ear.

So do i stick with the saloons or go for an  Estate....well be rude not to change the car now wouldn't it lol. ;D

Oh and to make the day even more special its only her bloody birthday....when she asked where her present was i said ""Ive given you two isnt that enough""  ;D ;D

Ive already decieded one of them will be a boy....although she hates the name i quite like Leon. :)

Anyway just thought id share my news...... ;)

Congratulations. It amazed me what you had to cart around just for one so for two you'd better go for the estate.

Ikea is also worth a look for cots etc....ro try second hand, normaly plenty of stuff in the local paper.

Just remember that certain items only get used for a matter of weeks i.e. Moses Baskets (the single most pointless thing we bought!)

Congratulations Stuart.  [smiley=beer.gif]

I remember only too well the first pictures from the scan.  Mind you, in those days, they were drawn on parchment!

Twins are hard work, so be prepared, but they have many benefits.

Good luck to you both.  Keep us posted.

well done....

I remember when my daughter was born, wow what a time, something you will never forget....

and now she is 4 going on 40 and bosses us around all the time, i would dread having twins, but then it is an instant family......

Get all the sleep you can now and try to store it, sleepness nights will be the norm.....when you look back though you will think it was worth it
