If you look at the santapod and jockular omega threads, it takes approx 14 years and 38,000 posts to arrange a meet on here. Don't give up just yet your only on day one :-? Depending on where and when it is you might even get one or two midlanders tagging along ;)

Would suggest sometime in November potentially 11th 12th, 18th 19th or 25th 26th November before the christmas rushes start. Obviousy yet to agree a venue suitable for all who wish to attend.  ;)

Is this definitely happening this weekend. If so, what sort of time are we looking at and whereabouts in the service area? Haven't had a chance to locate the pub that's nearby but think I could probably find one if need be :y

I don't think another one's been planned yet Roy. I guess there won't be much happening until the weather gets a bit warmer. There will certainly be another meet at Santa Pod later this year due to the large success of last years meet.

Not a lot really!! Only Mickdundee (now known as The Man With No Name), Dubford and me turned up, plus quite a few guys were there from Autobahnstormers. Me and Mick ended up in one of my local pubs in Hoddesdon whereby I was duly educated in Jock speak. ::) ;D

Shall watch this space as I missed it last time, perhaps as and when I maybe able to make the next one. not that my car is anything fancy to show off but would be good to meet a few peeps.

I travel to these places frequently for work, so if there are memebers round these areas maybe we can arrange something...

Mark - I live in the Mudway, oops I mean Medway area !!

although my barge is going in for repair later today (Monday) - and may be gone for some time ... if it does get written off, I've potentially got a 3.2 auto estate lined up as a replacement  :y

So I'll be up for a meet once I know what I'm gonna be driving  ;D

I live in Waltham Abbey (J26 M25) and would be interested in a meet close to me. I could hopefully get some of you clever people who know what they are looking at to give my car the once over and maybe help with the numerous problems i have with her. Please advise me when a date and location has been decided.

Just keep an eye out.  This meeting got absorbed into the Brackley parties.  A ton of people are going to Drax tomorrow, then there's the Lake District in June.  Other things pop up relatively quickly, a few people needing cambelts now.

Thing with cambelts, they are best done in summer for (relatively) guaranteed weather.  The Brackley ones were arranged in a rush due to MaxV6 and Tunnie urgently needing them.

There may well be another in the summer, though I am tight for space, despite my very understanding neighbours, and Tunnie is off round Europe, lucky bugger.
