philips car 2006

My CD player sometimes does not read CDs and displays disc error 1 2 3 or4 . or just says no CD. can any one help, thanks  Mike

I only get that with CDR's burnt at high speed. CDR's burnt at 2x work fine, and 'proper' CDs work every time. Maybe the lens needs a clean ?

Thanks for reply bigdods. but I only use 'proper' CDs Have tried to clean the head but that also comes up with error thanks again Mike

They do appear to be problematic.

You could try lens cleaning, but I do not hold out much hope  :'(
