...nooooo really? You think...? ;D

 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-33622318

While clearly they do as I'm sure you all know to varying degrees. I have to question the wisdom of placing such a large, heavy and difficult vehicle to drive such as this, in the hands of such a retarded moron. HELLOOOO ! ? !

Having said that, does the bikes horn not work? Shock I suppose, and a feeling of complete helplessness took over. :o

Mate has an old titanium bike exhaust silencer he has stripped to leave a simple cone shape. This he wants to cut up to make heat shields for the new exhaust that replaces it.

It's curbed in shape and obviously tricky to hold. Plasma hand heald torch to the rescue. But will it spark like a barsuard and burn me garage to the ground? ;D

General Discussion Area / The right to complain....
« on: 16 July 2015, 20:34:45 »
Lady opposite. Cat lover. Lives alone. All round good egg but can be nosey although not relevant to this.

Gets a knock on the door. Turns out to be a neighbour 2 doors away but in the next road, who's house backs on to the house next to hers. He's complaining to her because she feeds the birds in her garden. (Cat securely locked in the house, no cat flap, it rarely goes out anyway unless she checks the garden first)

Why is he complaining to her? Because the pigeons crap on the roof the their conservatree. His wife isn't happy "it's disgusting" she says. Especially when the family are round for tea. She closed the door on him. Thought no more of it.

Next thing she gets a letter from the council. Official complaint. She's told to stop feeding the birds. All food should be kept in sealed containers to counter rats. All droppings should be cleared away and the garden kept clean.

She has a bird table, with a single tubular mesh bird feeder hanging from it. She does not feed pigeons.

Somewhat annoyed, she rang the council, to be told they had a complaint and are duty bound to follow it up. After some "discussion" council confirmed they had no power to stop her feeding the birds.

A factual post.

If anyone has been then you already know. If you haven't, then go. Put on your bucket list, save up, enter the draw, whatever you have to do to get tickets, but go.

There's no point trying to explain it, as its all been said before and non of it does it justice. It's not cheap, so bring your ownack lunch, hat, sun cream etc.

...just go to Wimbledon. Amazing. :y

General Car Chat / Ride quality tip
« on: 08 July 2015, 00:13:57 »
If the back of the car feels crashy and really harsh over bumps and broken road surfaces, and you have a Halfords multi piece socket set in the boot like the 150/175/200 piece set we use on here and it's placed flat directly on the carpeted boot floor...

...remove it. You'll find you don't need to lower the tyre pressures, replace shocks, look for broken springs or... Fix anything at all really.  :-[ ::) ;D

Ffs ;D ;D ;D
