Font size on this site
« on: 25 July 2006, 22:14:53 »

Tried to press gang another member from the last site - but he said the font size was a bit small and had trouble reading the posts, not being one to complain  ;D, can anything be done about this?

If you are heavily short sighted you need bigger text as glasses make text smaller - I have decided my 32" little TV needs replacing with a 46" LCD, just waiting for the price to drop as it is still over £3000, mind you my 32" CRT cost £1200 with discount

If you are short sighted you don't need glasses to read by, only long sighted need people need reading glasses.

Short sighted people need glasses to see long distance.

I know what you mean, I used to play a lot of competitive snooker, couldn't play in glasses, so it was like potting balls of angora wool....then along came Dennis Taylor...bought a pair, and bingo, I could pot long balls again.

Fine as it is I reckon - I view on at 21" CRT (at work) and 15" laptop and a 17" LCD panel (at home) and it is perfectly readable on all of these.

Admittidly, I am blessed with good eyesight and I could see that users without good eyesight would have trouble.

One of my computer users at work would not be able to read this for example.  That being said, I would say that it si probably fine for around 90 - 95% of users.

My eyesight is fine, but I do find the grey on grey boxes a bit hard to read. Fine when black on grey.
