Keep them serviced, those V6s can do some miles.

The Bullet is a fair way behind, on 206k

HG failures, normally around 150k, and chronic bore wear by 200k on poorly serviced examples, normally means they dont.

Don't think so, by some margin :-\ iirc 300k+ is where it's at :y

I don't feel so bad about mine ticking over 150K yesterday now. ;)

And I keep looking at the odo in mine (both cars, actually) and thinking that 110k is probably time to retire them.. ;D

Retire them at 110000?????
My 3lt has done 128 and as good as gold.

The Omega has a laundry list of work needed - cambelt, cam covers, O2 sensor move, front bushes, geometry, the tailgate has practically rusted through, one door is starting to rust, drivers sill is probably in a terrible state under the plastic cover (rust fingers starting to appear on the door jamb).. other than that it's fine ;) ;D

The M3 has a rattle from somewhere and that's bound to be expensive to fix :-[

No doubt I'll retire neither, though. Better the devil you know and all that (at least until the Omega starts failing MOTs needing welding).
