Was going to say Rover, but I thought they were injection? Well 4.6 at least, (think 3.5 was carb?) as there is what looks like a carb on top of the beige one? Unless its an air-filter?

How can you seen what's under the bonnet from there? 

It's not difficult to swap either way. ie leave the 4.6 injected & add the necessary wiring to the Rover, or bin the injection & use the carbs on it ............... but why would you?

Not very well I admit  - But there is what looks like a box, same colour as the car on top of the engine? Pure guess though

it was a round filter housing with 2 pipes coming out to front of car--cold air induction-I think

Great looking cars, always liked the look of them. Would have to be standard for me, the modified ones not for me, each to their own.

However I'd be very tempted to drop a decent V8 in there, make it a great sleeper with the exterior totally standard
