Some old car pics from Portugal
« on: 16 August 2018, 20:34:14 »

Spotted quite a few old motors whilst out in the Algarve, rust isn't an issue out here, hence plenty of Vxs kicking about! Also one or two spots from home - no idea why pics are so big, made them all smaller before uploading:

Was that not the first front drive car made? It was some bit of kit mind you!

Not sure about the first, but certainly at the fore front of FWD. Hard to believe it was replaced with the DS

Very nice - some memories for me in there, as there's a few I've owned (sadly not the Traction Avant, or I'd be loaded by now ;D)

Ah,the traction avant now that brings back memories of watching Rupert Davis as Maigret.Never owned a Renault 4 but have covered many miles in them, like the 2CV basic and noisy but a very comfy car all the same more power than a 2CV obviously because of its bigger engines, and many of them were built in Ireland.
