Omega General Help / Re: New Tyre recommendation
« on: 06 March 2014, 19:28:57 »
I know these are not cheap tyres but I've never fitted anything other than Michelin pilot premecy HP's on my 3.0... she's been lowered 30mm on eibach pro lines with bilstien B4's and sits comfortably on 235/45/17's.

They give very good longevity at roughly 30,000 miles a set and I ain't the lightest footed either..... but on the downside their expensive.

Having an issue trying to figure out where a all the wiring goes at the front of the car, ie which wires go on which route!!! The cars been apart for a while now and I'm having a serious brain fart....
Looking for anything specific  :-\

Yeh... everything front end related.... could do with anther car just to look how everything goes really....

If it can wait until after christmas I can run mine over for you to compare/study. I also MIGHT have a load of photos of when I stripped mine down.( need to sort laptop out to check)

That would be fantastic if you could Lee.... I'm pretty stumped atm.... give me a text or phone when you might be free... cheers

Sorry for barging in on the party but could you have maybe pinched a cam sensor wire while working in that general area, I just seems a bit off to be having compression problems when it was working perfectly well before you had the plenium, cam covers and timing covers off.

Shot in the dark I know but I agree with the guys about the misfire and the evidence from the codes certainly suggests electrical over mechanical, just a thought as knackered cam sensors can still run an engine, just really poorly! we are rooting for you fella.

If im wrong please feel free to tell me to wind my neck in and ill go back to just keeping up with the posts :y

No stored codes, have a spark as it will splutter when fed carb cleaner straight into the throttle body. I dont know if the larger brown wire of the four that feeds the fuel pump is surposed to be permenently live with ignition or permenently live once the car has started. either way Ive got no fuel at all to the rail and the pump makes no noise (wherring type noise) at all.
