How much for scrap?
« on: 16 January 2019, 22:46:25 »

Has anyone weighed in an Omega for scrap recently?

My Elite runs sweetly and (almost) everything works as it should but it has done 212,00 miles and doesn't have an MOT.

Realistically I am too far from OOF central for anyone to pop over and strip it for parts and I don't have the time. :(

To add, I would possibly get it MoTd... I suspect that if it has been parked in that spot for a year, it will be absolutely rotten underneath  :-\

At least knowing exactly what it needs, it could be sold as a clear project or as a donor car...

My £183 saw the car collected in Sussex and taken to Mancchester/Preston way for processing... Lord alone knows how that made sense... Wasn't even broken for spares :o
