Checked the codes on the new acquisition... Only 4 ::)
0170
0335
0340
1555
Hesitates slightly under load, which might explain the 1555, will clean the throttle body to address that, and hopefully in turn this will help the 0170 :-\
Any further opinion on either of these?

My 2.2 always benefited from an annual removal of the throttle body and good soaking/cleaning in plus gas. Due to the ease at it's removal it's a nice little job, always found it was a little smooth after that job.

The intake rubber hose (between the Air Filter / TB) can rub against the Bonnet felt, esp if the felt hasn't been clipped up properly, causing splits on the Hose etc, compress the hose with your hand and look for any cracks etc, also check for other Intake air leaks around the jubilee clips blah, blah.

Check the pipe from the crankcase to throttle body hasn't turned to plasticine and is getting sucked flat, no idea if it will be the cause but every one I have had has been knackered, I've the remnants of a 2.2 breaker if you need any bit's

That small pipe can become a right gooey mess...
Pipes all look OK, only obvious error is that the Hbv vac pipe has popped out... Evidence of gunge around the TB though, so a decent clean is definitely in order ;)

I'd clear out the codes, reset trims, and then see what the live data looks like after 20 miles or so.
