3000 24v is a good engine! I wish i had more money so i can buy one and put it in my car...

Go for straight six! I have only bad memories of the v6... Changed the engine 5 times.

I am a little bit proud of my rear muffler, i made it my self with silencer wool inside. The original fell off by itself..

Not good  ;D

Best part about owning an older car is being able to fix things yourself , looks like you will be keeping the car for sometime yet . My next task is to learn mig welding so i can do even more repairs , i have the welder already ...just need a few lessons  :)

I will always fix my cars self at home, i wil never pay a expensive workshop to change my oil if you know what i mean...

i am never going to sell this car! I will keep it running for many-many years! :)

Welding is a must for every mechanic you know. I have TIG welded since i was ca. 13 years old and now i am 18. It sux to weld with TIG on bodywork... I wich i had a MIG welder in my garage too...

Are you using gas when welding? :)

That is not too bad! you should have more and closer welding points(?) :) i cant see you have burned holes either so your welder was right adjusted to that job :)

That's the purple monster!
It was a Carlton 3.0 CDX - got written off by a rougue lane changer on the M1 in 2008.

His welding has got a bit better since then.   ::)
