Dismantled half of the front of the Mundano to change a headlight bulb and reassembled.  ::)

Then went to change the windscreen wipers which I always find a fiddly challenge!  ::)   Anyway I eventually got them on to find they are utterly shite and should be called windscreen smearers!  :o  >:(

The old ones will be going back on and I'll be returning the new shite ones!  >:(

What age Mondeo?,headlights bulbs are really simple up to around 07 plate, just lift two metal clips and headlight comes right out  :y

It's an 08 MK4 and I might have exaggerated slightly.  :-X  ;)

However, it's 2 torque screws for the headlight and a phillips screw to undo the grill so you can prise it away from the headlight to create a bit of room to maneuver the headlight out of its hole which is a right PITA, as the wing wraps around the headlight unit  ::)

Worked on the project Omega CD this afternoon - first time it's had any attention since the clocks went back. Warmed up engine until fans kicked in (first time it's been started for over 3 months). Cleaned out scuttle drains and back of engine bay / bulkhead drain areas with a wide variety of tools...... extension brushes, vacuum cleaner, air line, and treated all those areas with moisture repelling potions. Just got to wait for it to dry out after a final flush and then will treat those areas to some Dinnitrol.

I found it very therapeutic, and nice to have a quiet day after the hoards of people had gone home after Christmas.  :y

Put another CR2032 in the Pussy's fob. About the 3rd one since I got it.  Can't remember last time I did an Omega one or Zafira one :o

Noticed the fob rubber is really badly coming adrift now, so need to look at that. When I'm well enough.

Mr Bones looks a little concerned. You haven't done that 'drive it through a pile of horse plop' trick again have you?

Its still got Scottish dirt and flies on it. And I went there in early August.

There was some head scratching between my view of the handling and what the geo figures were saying...  ...but I did catch hi out with the camera :D

Investigated why the rear offside tyre had deflated over Christmas, with the MOT due in a couple of weeks. Crack in the alloy wheel. @rse!

Off to the "parts for sale/wanted" section... ::)

Fitted non-CSD SRS ECU to the daily and unplugged CSD at seat connector.... No more airbag light coming back on  :y

Thought about fitting passenger lock solenoid on the project but quickly decided I cannot be arsed today.
