ensure you use .co.uk address, not .com

Not sure if .com is genuine, so I changed my password anyway after having same issue

Nope that didn't work either ... no worries

Thanks

Hi Everyone and Seasons Greetings  :y

Was fine a few days ago ?
Was quite handy for checking part no's etc.

How can I solve this or is the party over  :'(

Thanks

Im not going to get into a slagging match here  :y.......
But after 12 years of Omega ownerships last year almost a year to the day i got my 2011 SRi 160 CDTI.
I will admit i was not to sure i had done the right thing in the first few hours/days but now i love it.
Fuel consumption is 45mpg at least and even seen 54mpg on a longish journey... so much better than the mid 20's if very lucky with the petrol Omega.
It is so much more faster in accelaration than my old Omega... I couldnt believe how slow and gutless / sluggish the Omega had been.
I will say that i do sometimes find the SRi suspension a bit hard on our dreadfull roads but maybe thats because the old Omega used to wallow all over the place when not tramlining  ;)
It doesnt have heated seats though which i do miss :(

In short i wouldnt even consider another Omega even if given one free... its not that i dont like them....I loved the 2 Omega's i had but newer more moderen cars are so much better looking inside and out ...3 year warranty and not the constant worry of things going wrong.. If anything happens a phone call is all it takes.... or the upcoming MOT praying it would pass etc.
I'll never had an "old" car again.

Just my point of view mind ... having experienced both cars.
Other points of view are available  ;D ;D

Just means they can install "homebrew" apps etc or apps not certified by google play.
Same principle as a jail broken iphone.
Claims to give you more control over your phone as far as I can make out but invalidates any warranty.

Lots about it on here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general

I've moved on to the 2012 Insignia SRI 2ltr 160 NAV diesel thingy ..... been 2-3 months now and can safely say I wont have another Omega. Having said that both the Omega's I had were good reliable cars till the last one a few months ago . I was sitting in the car showroom about to sign for the new one but looking at the omega out the window and I almost backed out when I saw her abandoned outside  ;D
I prefer everything about the new car now I'm used to it ( wasn't quite so sure in the early days ).
But now I love the fuel economy difference . I was getting mid 20's on petrol but this new car gives mid 44mpg without trying and if driving like a granddad I've even seen 54 mpg. 550 plus miles for my tankful instead of 350 if I was lucky. Also a lot cheaper on road tax .
Drives better , looks better and more modern inside and out and can move quickly if needed .
Just my opinion mind  ::)

Green and yellow would be an earth.  ;)

Red, yellow and blue are often (with the pre-harmonised colour scheme) used as live in triple core cable in 2 way switched lighting circuits, and so on. I'm guessing in this case that the yellow is a switched live to the fan, the red on that terminal is a switched live to the light, and the three red conductors in the other terminal are 2 permanent lives forming part of a lighting ring and maybe a permanent live to the fan, if it has a timer built in.

All that is required is to make the same connections to the new switch.
So as long as the three reds go together at one side and the red and yellow go to the other side thats it ?  Does it matter where the 3 reds go as theres COM-L , L1 and L2 markings on the new one .

That yellow one should be an earth...............but it is joining a live, which normally would be the return for the switch.

I would need to check that yellow with a circuit tester, as to me, it should be as dead as earth's usually are!

Two of the reds in to the connection on the left are part of the ring circuit. The third red no doubt goes to the fan unit, with a return, the red on the right, coming back to the switch unit to complete the circuit when the switch is closed.

Still baffled though about the yellow (it should also have green stripes), and I would have to be on site to know more after testing.

I  hope that helps, but I suspect another, currently professional electrician, will give better advise. :y :y
Im usually not bad at this kind of thing as ive changed all the lights in the house and put up fans etc but this one threw me ... I'll maybe just get an electrician in  :-[

Hello
Im looking for some advice from an electrician if theres any about .... basically i thought i'd replace the bathroom pull witch with a shiney new on to match the bathroom decor . The bathroom has only one light and one light switch but there is a fan that comes on with the light and runs for 5 mins or so afterwards .
So i unscrew the one thats there and see 3 red wires going into one terminal and a red one and a yellow one going into another .....

So the new switch looks like this below ..... where do i start  ::)

Thought this would be easy  ???
