This may help.
I believe you need a 'wanted' skill/profession to stand a chance and also have enough money to pay your way home plus  a sponsor.

I must agree with the comments for Pet Plan.
They have been brilliant for us with Amber......
About £5000 of claims and still £19  per month.

General Car Chat / Re: Had a bump today
« on: 12 January 2014, 21:47:56 »
Two cars had an off side coming together outside our house.
One car spun round and caught the bumper of my car which was parked on the pavement.
The car is a Vectra Estate, the bumper popped off the clips and it gouged and scratched the paint and cracked the back light.
The accident wrote off the other two cars which means a big insurance claim.
If I claim off the insurance the odds are they will right off my 02 Vectra which to be honest is worth about £500.
I have done a fair bit of work on it and don't want to lose it. I have a £300 excess which means I would get a couple of hundred pounds if they paid out, even though I would eventually get my excess back.
Because of the write off of the other cars the driver has said deal with the insurance company.
I have decided to swallow the bill and repair it myself.

I must be honest I was the biggest supplier of negative thoughts when they first tried the idea on the M42.
It certainly works, it does not cure all problems but certainly helps keep the traffic moving better.
To my knowledge, I prepare to be challenged, there has never been an accident due to or caused by the use of the hard shoulder as a live lane.
They are in the process of adjusting the carriageway between the M54 and the M42 on the M6 where, if you travel this way, there is almost a permanent traffic jam during the day and the night.
I will be interested to see if it makes any difference to the traffic flow. If this doesn't help then we will see if the government buys the infamous Toll Road.

Does anyone know the details of the coach now featuring in the new "Go Compare advert"?

It is obviously a modern coach. :y

On the case Lizzie ... :-\

Awaiting your report  then  Seth  with anticipation!  :y :y :y :y ;)

I have lost track of coaches interiors and don't even recognise the Go Compare coach.
All I can find is the registration was from Manchester from between !st Sep 07 to 28th Feb 08 and it is not on the Insurance Database as insured......
Over to Seth, the font of most things bus, but what about coaches? :-\
