We still haven't decided on a location yet...

Before comitting to either North or South Queensferry can we identify how much space we need and what we want to do when we get there!

Both Villages are busy on a Sunday and we might have problems getting all Miggys together at one location.

Also - if we are doing a barbeque again we might need to head out of town.

Give me your views and I'll take it on board to find a suitable location.

Otherwise engaged up to about lunchtime...... so needs to be, at the earliest, a 1pm Lanarkshire leave for me.

I think the meet should just be a meet, where we just get together for 1-2 hours in the car park at North Queensferry under the bridge to just chat and talk about car's, no BBQ etc just a chance for people to put names to faces  

But thats only my view, if anyone has any other view please add to the thread

Not aware of a car park under the Bridge in North Queensferry - unless you mean Deep Sea World?

Don't you mean South Queensferry - at the Hawes Inn?

If you go through North Queensferry to right under the Rail Bridge, immediately under the northmost tower, there is a small carpark with views backwards over the harbour towards the road bridge, if I recall correctly.  Took some photographs there previously.....

Deep Sea World would be good for wives/kiddies if they did not want to talk cars and look at engines.  I agree with Jim ref. BBQ etc.  I would prefer a natter for a couple of hours rather than also potentially buying scran to get soaked in the piddling rain and wasted...

Meant to say that if you pan the image in my previous post around a wee bit you see the Deep Sea World carpark to the right of the bridge, access from the turn off above, with access to the suggested carpark made via the road around the harbour.....

Besides, as we all know, timekeeping isn't exactly your strong point either.  I have witnesses.

With regard to the meeting, i'll be there, and so will my oil leak.
