I've seen an 05 Range Rover L322 4.4V8 petrol with an lpg kit on it at a very good price and I'm tempted to go and have a look.  ::)

Trouble is... I know that there is no such thing as a cheap Range Rover!  ;D

DON'T DO IT SIR TIG!

Mrs Opti will be wondering what you intend to do with your windfall. A golf R perhaps?

Not being sexist but such a car would be wasted on a woman. She would have no idea about the size of the engine or the BHP. She would simply know what the colour was.

I think we should all enjoy women for their 'cuddly and moist bits' and not expect too much when it comes to intellectual capacity.

This usually happens when, subconsciously, I'm trying to break it because I fancy something newer. It's something most men do from time to time, and there's no sense to it at all.
I do not need a new car, and I must tell myself that I'm being foolish. Nowt wrong with the one I've got and I wouldn't get the money for it that it's worth to me. Naughty!

But still...... ::)

Get thee behind me, Satan!  ;D

I think my 510 BHP Jaguar would be the ideal car for a 'young stud about town' like your good self.

£26500 will secure it. I very nearly sold it yesterday.
How much of a hit would you be taking at that price?

£11500 over almost exactly 2 years ......or £110 each and every week if I wish to depress myself.

The thing is......WBAC regularly send me emails saying my car is worth X amount and I usually ignore them. However, in the last week or two they have raised their offer by almost £3000, so I thought.....hmmm.....maybe just maybe it's time for a change.

I made an appointment and drove to see them where a kid of about 19 or 20 pressed a few switches and checked the electric windows were working. He took 5 minutes tops. He then offered me £500 less because of a couple of stone chips just above the number plate. To be fair the offer was better than expected but on a matter of principle I declined the offer.
That's one hell of a hit but, maybe, relatively not. I paid less than that for my astra but, I suppose, I'm comparing apples with oranges. I'm trying to be kind, but don't make the same mistake next time. Just don't.

Depreciation is starting to slow, which is good if I keep the car longer........ :y

But as the car ages  costly repairs become more likely. Dilemma.  :-\

Arguably the cheapest way to own something like that. It goes without saying that your £480pcm wouldn't get you anywhere near a lease/pcp on a new, or even used one.

How many miles have you added during your ownership?

Surely the Range Rover is Britain at it's best....... ::)

At its 1970s best. Great when it's working, but it's on strike half the time and only works four days a week because the power keeps going off..

A Range Rover of this age is more German than British I think?  ???  :-\

The 4.4V8 is BMW.  :)

A common mistake. £110/7=15.714x31=£487.14 per 31 day month.

Or £110 x 52 / 12 = £476.66 pcm

Especially not with the BMW lump in it... Neglect causes timing chain issues, which will render the lump scrap... The price will tell you how imminent this is. Assuming of course the the wiring allows the engine to run long enough to break...
