Could the colour coding be torque AND ratios?

Presumably the 2.5td will have very different requirements to the revvy 2.0 16v petrol :-\

I'm a bit slow off the mark here trying to look at this  . . .& still have not managed it yet  . . .but I recall the AR35 I had in my shed for yonks also  had a GREEN ID badge  :-\

It might have different requirements, but that didn't stop GM fitting the same box.  They are identical (but different map on the TCM, obviously)
