First few tankfuls in the little blue pussy have returned between 36 and 37 MPG.

It can certainly chew through some fuel when driven at full chat but is pleasantly economical when stuck behind some plodder taking it easy.

Gauge reads perhaps 0.5 - 1MPG more than actual.

Mine is currently reading, for this tank, 39.4mpg. I suspect that around 34 in reality.  Although as I won't be using it in works time for a bit, it will plummet ;D

IIRC about 30 MPG average hooning around locally and commuting and it'll do high 30's on a motorway run. A light car doesn't suffer too badly from being heavy-footed. ;D

Not sure I could get it that low. Wouldn't get more than a couple of laps out of a tank. ;D

Ahh, I get about 23 mixed driving and only about 27 on the motorway but as soon as it sees a track all hell breaks loose.

Oil and filter change at the local ATS this morning, while I went and had a fry up in a funky little cafe and admired the attractive waitresses!  :y

Has there been an OOF dividend payout recently that I missed? Everyone seems to be paying for oil changes recently. :o :-\

In all honesty, as long as you could care less what oil goes in it, these days you pretty much have to want to do it yourself.

Adjusted the very slack handbrake on my Welsh  hatchback. Noticed a little pool of engine oil under the front of the Omega. Im guessing its feeling neglected by the arrival of a younger model.  ::)
