A brilliant Idea? MAYBE NOT
« on: 03 February 2010, 22:49:13 »

Why can we not have a chat place in real time on OOF, like Messenger, is it to complex to do one, to expensive?
It seems like a good idea to me.
Or are there peeps on here chatting already using MSN?
I have Windows Messenger but only persons on there I speak to are my sister once a year and my hubby's best mate the Fireman, and he always out playing with big red trucks that make funny noises and have disco lights.
Any suggestions?
D.

There are enough links available in folks sigs to use available comms media without over egging the OOF puuding, as discussed several times previously.

OOF is a forum to discuss Omegas and other assorted car 'dangle berries' and stuff.  bebo, facebook, and other similar realtime chat fora lime MSN are already established....  ;)

Been suggested before .. and if memory serves.. it was decided that, in all probablity, the same few folks would "monopolise" it as a private chat room.

It would thus stop folks visiting the site, which is primarily a car forum with added general chat ... although it does seem to be a chat room with added car stuff at times !!!!

Just my views .. nowt else .. :)

I have links for MSM, YIM, Skype and Facebook on my Avater settings, feel free to add to any of mine, any one on the OOF is welcome, just add a message with your user name and mention the OOF.

As for a seperate chat link it has been mentioned a few times, but basically that what the forum is, a place to meet chat and debate (in a humble fasion)  ::)
