Same here in Sweden, even the same partnumber had a lower price from SAAB

Good point...searching through web and only real source of correct seal is USA which has stupid postal charges and even sillier prices ….£30 for a rubber seal delivered

Make your own from  O-ring stock superglued to the correct size, and fit with a smear of silicone. Spend the other £25 on beer for the rugby final.


Any of the hydraulics/bearing/fastener suppliers on Medway City Estate(or any other large industrial estate you might pass) will have what you need.

Thanks Nick for your usual wise words and cost saving tips.

Have found a O ring posted for £2-85 which is almost less than fuel to City Estate so have ordered it for Wednesday delivery ..I hope.

Last time I coated the rubber seals in silicone grease as had hoped I wouldn't need to pull it apart again ,so may use a thin bead of Loctite sealant as well this time as have it to hand.

Think Tea and Toast  better option given kick off time...but maybe afterwards
