Out of interest, who has paid their deposit to Pelerine Camp Site for the Wales meet, (That's not in Wales but is really close)?
Golfbuddy, Mrs Golfbuddy and Golfbuddy Junior will be sending off our cheque when we get back from Hols.
Post your replys here and we will be able to see how many are going.

Sadly I'm not going to be able to make it. By the time you are settling down to a few beers around the barbie on Saturday night I hope to be arriving in Turin in the Omega. Off on our summer hols :D
I hope it turns out to be every bit as fun as the lakes meet does and I look forward to making the next one :y

Hope to make it for just the Sat & Sun, but it's not 100% yet so haven't paid deposit. If I can't blag a place in one of the larger "canvas hotels" then I'll phone the site before I leave to see if I can still book a pitch for a small 2 man tent. :y

Its end of month, the weekend after the bank holiday. I'm sure you can make it if you try, its only about 1hr45 from here ;)

Yep, campsite is Pelerine in Newent which is not in Wales. Two nights, Friday and Saturday, leave on Sunday morning. Families welcome, quite a few bringing wives and sprogs. Check this out (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1185441501;start=all) for details of the site and dates.

Yes, pay the balance when you get to the site. Don't know about others but we will be there about mid-afternoon as we have to drive up from Cornwall, pick up Golfbuddy Junior from her grandparents in Bristol then make our way to Newent.
If someone gets there before us, mines a pint of cider. ;D ;D ;D

For those that haven't attended before, we often have one or two large BBQs on the go of an evening, and tend to sit around that chatting...
Alas, my Gas BBQ is too big to fit in my saloon.

When the Lakes Meet had been sorted, a list was made up of how many people were going, what was being taken etc..... We have just under two weeks to get this sorted Guys & Galls :y

Looks like me and son Greg will be ok for the Saturday and Sunday. I have one small problem - I've left most of my camping gear at my house in Barnstaple and only have a really small 2 man tent (really only big enough for 1), so does anyone have a large tent with room for me and Greg? No worries if not, we'll make do with what I've got but worth asking.

I was hoping to wangle the weekend off work last minute but it wasn't to be [smiley=cry.gif] Anyway everyone going to the its not very far from wales meet have a great time :y if it's as good as the lakes meet you'll have a blast. but remember it's a criminal offence to impersonate a group of police officers if you get any complaints about noisy B.B.Q's ::) ;D
