Just got back from Morrisons. As I arrived an elderly woman was unloading a very large trolley into the small car. Husband had sat it out in the car.  I overheard her saying " There are hardly any toilet rolls left". This was after she was stuffing her daily purchase limit of toilet rolls  into the car on top of the hand sanitiser and soap, flour, eggs etc. I wanted to say "because you bought them all"

Soap was on my list. Couldn't find it anywhere because........ they had sold out completely.
They might have been good Samaritans, and picking it up for fellow elderly neighbours who may be unable or unwilling to go out themselves.

last week I picked up shopping for the 80+ year old lady next door, we often do ,along with shopping for older family members
and it looks like soon we will be collecting ALL the shopping etc , not just heavy items ,because 70+ year olds will be asked to stay in .

Was in Costco earlier, and punters were going berserk over bog roll, which was being limited to 1 pack per customer, for obvious reasons.

There are 45 rolls to a pack.

Yet people were still trying various stunts to get multiple packs.

Christ, no wonder there is a shortage if families are getting through 45 rolls or shitter paper that quickly.

I think I saw somewhere that Pornhub are giving their premium content out for free due to Covid-19, so that's why people are stocking up on bog roll.  :)
