Yep, beautiful outside. Popped to Costa at lunchtime and trade doesn't appear to be down at all - local retail park is just as busy as always..

Isn't Costco like bookers cash and carry ?
so shops , clubs, pubs etc go to buy bulk because they need bulk to supply to customers

It was, but then it became a "members club"  meant for business, but all you had to do was be introduced by said business, then you got a card, all I've noticed is seems to be a lot of foreign types frequent the MK one.
Welcome to Milton Keynes.

The MK branch, being MK, is also overrun with unruly kids ripping everything open, and the parents entering a full barrage of abuse when a staff member asks them to control their little bastard offsprings, from 8 different fathers.

Was in Costco earlier, and punters were going berserk over bog roll, which was being limited to 1 pack per customer, for obvious reasons.

There are 45 rolls to a pack.

Yet people were still trying various stunts to get multiple packs.

Christ, no wonder there is a shortage if families are getting through 45 rolls or shitter paper that quickly.
they might have been buying for neighbours...........
I'm sure some of it was. But 45 rolls should be shared adequately amongst neighbours.  Although one irate person of east African descent was trying to say he had 2 children, thus needed several packs.

Maybe Somalians feed shitter roll to their offspring, once the little bastards have stopped wrecking everything in sight.

And the Americans are panic buying.........guns!
Of course, gotta get ready for the zombie apocalypse.  ;D

Toilet roll shortage at Walgreens, yanks shooting each other in the aisles. I'd watch the news for that.  ;D
Lets legalise them here.  That'll sort everything out.

Well.....after hearing the latest pronouncements, al I can say is "What a bunch of f**king idiots". Schools are to stay open. Anyone who has a family member with a cough or a temperature should stay at home for two weeks. Wifey lost four members of staff within minutes of the second statement, so HTF will schools be able to stay open?  ;D
I shouldn't have put that smiley, as she is on her way home and quite stressed.

Did I just cough..........?  ::)

Waving your arms around blaming the government isn't an effective strategy either :-X

my stratergy is in place  :y
BUT .....
don't we pay the government large sums of money to make good decisions and run the country  ;D
they should have contained it as much as possible, got stuff in place
NOT told everyone to go to work until they are on deaths door
then go shopping for stuff they should have ,like nurses, ventilators  ::)

plus i only paid for a £5 argument DG ,to save you typing  ;D :D

appreciate you are in a bad situation working for the travel industry  :(
