Hang on this doesn't make sense.  He can't be braking while drawing the number 11 everywhere...

Having never taken the rear wheels off, presumably this is the fronts? Would rears have sensors?

Foot on brake can be overcome by foot on gas leading to a smoky burnout, meaning shagged rear tyres and cooked brakes. :)

Quick look through the workshop phish, and it does have rear sensors.

Guess I'll have to take the rear wheels off.  That will have to wait a couple of weeks.

I refer the (dis)honourable gentleman to the time, when Radio 2 has that ego driven, annoying, trailer trash presenter on.  Mr Evans, Mr Bruce, Mr Wright, Mr Mayo/Ms Whiley I can handle. But not Old woman Mrs Whine...

Chris Evans is irksome at best and Jo Whiley induces a violent rage. But neither are as bad as the whiny bloke. The rest are actually quite entertaining  :y

You have DAB, so there are hundreds of alternative stations. Everything from Gaydio ( I kid you not) to the Nigel Farage show, which I know you would love to hear.  ;D
I tend to swap between Planet rock, absolute classic rock, Magic smooth, and LBC -  depending on who is on there.
LBC is ok for an alternative to the lefty dross on R4 in the mornings. Nick Ferrari dissecting some lefty bullshitter or other, cheers me up on the way home from work.

I tend to listen to Dave Ramsey on my commute as each 1/3 episode is the same time as my journey...

Plenty of lefty bashing with some interesting and insightful bits thrown in ;)

If those warning lights are anything like like Shitroen then you'll have another 10k.

I only listen to the iPod, I can't stand radio.

Fudge me backwards.

Retail price for front pads from dealer is well over £200 :o. Roger me backwards. Best I could blag was 150, as cost is over 130.

So ordered 3rd party F & R pads and sensors F & R.

You will need some electrical Techninical stuff to retract calipers I suspect :-\

Not on the jags, as per the VXs you can press certain buttons to get the motors to retract and on the earlier ones there is a post change calibration sequence.  :y

Aye.

I *think* you can just do it with the handbrake off, then pump brakes back up, then activate the handbrake with pedal depressed. The implication is that calibrates it?

Yes although there is a hint that a power cycle is required to re-run the learn.

On the X260 (and hence also the XE F-Pace etc) there is a button sequence that retracts the handbrake motors.

For the VX range its ignition on and foot on the brake press down and hold the handbrake switch for 5 seconds until the brake ECU light comes on, release the switch and then press it down again and the cables go to their full extension.

There does appear to be a gadget that you unplug the handbrake motors from their ECU into said gadget to untension.

Needless to say, I don't have that.

Looking on forums, X250 XFs seem to be a case of just change pads with handbrake off, and don't worry about anything...
