Anyhoo, back to the Carlton. Very low miles should mean its worth a lot of dosh, although I seriously doubt its anything like what is being asked for it.
It depends how its been stored though. If it has been dry stored and pampered, fair enough. But if it just hasn't been used much, and stood around doing nothing and ignored the rest of the time, then it might be the plastic bodywork that's holding the car together.
Would need checking carefully before parting with a big wad of readies imo.
I think anyone that's gonna part with £120K will probably get the AA to give it the once over, Albs  ;D

I know that we all know what it should look like inside, but a few pics would be nice.

It's got some interior pics further down the advert.

The seller is a dealer with 71 (100%) feedback, but has never sold a car, just parts. All in the last six months or so...like he was building up to something.  ;D

I think this is the one that regularly pops up on eBay but never sells. If it is, then the price has gone from £50K to £80K to now £120K. I suspect the seller isn't really interested in selling, and is just using it as an advert to get people into his showroom so he can sell them a Marina, Allegro or Capri or something.

yes, the £200 Marina is still with us! Fortunately, it is the only one. One bloke I know is still welding the pickup he uses, and could moan like a Brexiteer about how hard it is to find, and pay for, parts.

I think you'll find it was/is the remainers who moan, hence the term 'remoaner'.

mines dropped another half MPG average
Mrs TB's 3.2's MPG has nearly doubled from about 22mpg to 39mpg, on gas.

Mainly because its taking about 20 miles to turn on to gas ;D.  Don't fancy paying her petrol bill ;D

I'm down to close to 23
I don't have to worry about depreciation though being an Omega  ;D :D

Don't buy a Saab then, I just about manage 26,, the 3.2 was 24-25,,  and more fun.

Mine does similar mpg to yours but more fun involved !!
