Number of Omega's on the road these days?
« on: 27 February 2013, 20:40:46 »

Hi all,

Owner since July 2009 and I think that the number of Omegas that I see around have dropped massively in the last 3 1/2 years that I have owned the car especially in my home town of Watford.

Does anyone know of any numbers of Omegas on the roads in the last few years?

Just of out interest really.

Thanks

Alex

Wow this is perfect!

So Ive got an TD Elite Auto and it says there 91 on the roads in 2012.

How accurate do we think this list is? Is it based on road tax or MOT data etc?

Thanks very much

Ok that's interesting but I suppose it is pretty good.

Interesting to see the overall decline over the years, I hope mine keeps going for many, many years to come :)

I am sure the rising cost of petrol will be a factor.

My two 2.5 V6 Omega's only get a run out at weekends now and filling them up makes a hefty dent in the wallet. :(

I now use a 1997 1.5 Honda Civic to go to work. At an average mpg of over 40mpg it is a no brainer.

About to put my '54 plate one back to work, 25mpg but fek it, 'tis only money ::) the more fuel I use, the less (income) tax I pay, which can only be a good thing :-\

Interestingly according to how many left, in November 2011, there were only twelve 2004 registered manual V6 Specials. Now nearly 18months later, I wonder how many of those are white estates, and still on the road :-\

I wish, but it pays the bills a bit more readily than waiting for calls from the agency ::)
