2.5td Coolant Temperature Gauge
« on: 04 April 2018, 13:40:29 »

Afternoon Guys and Girls,

No Temperature showing on gauge, i'm thinking coolant temperature sensor because the glow plug light comes on every time as well so its not registering the temperature.

Anyone replaced one on the 2.5td? any recommended sources on where to get a replacement other than VXL?

Anyone got one? ;D :y

As per petrols, there are 2 sensors, one for the gauge, and a separate one for all the engine management stuff.

Under the intake manifold, desperately fiddly to remove without taking manifold off, but simple with it off.

Cant remember which sensor is which, but gauge one is the single pin one, engine ecu is 2 pin.
