F/S - police front springs
« on: 19 November 2015, 19:31:05 »

Had them kicking about the garage for a while - plans have changed on the Special, so are now surplus to requirements... Got them from a member in here many moons ago, and can't remember what year they're off, but they're in good condition.

£30 plus postage, or collection from TS22 postcode.

I might be interested but firstly can i ask whats the difference between these and elite front springs? Is it just firmer, or ride height changes too? TIA  :y

Ride height should be the same, but they are slightly firmer by virtue of being heavier duty. Believe Pauls has plod springs all round on his Elite, so he should be able to tell you for sure :y

Iam running police springs all round with the elite shocks.Car sits the same height. It has stiffened it up a little but it makes it feel better on corners and on motorway runs

As said, firmer and stronger but give the same ride height as normal. Similar to MV6 in road quality.

Good for sleeping policeman if you do a lot of London driving.  :y

If fact you could say, if you hit sleeping policeman at speed, the wheels and tyres will give up before the springs do.  :-[ :-[
