Had plans for some light car work today but when I got out of bed this morning it felt like someone had whacked me on the back with a cricket bat. Its no fun getting old.

Changed the oil in the Battlebus.  But as it started to rain part way through, I came over all CBA, so didn't do the filter.

I'm sure it'll be fine until the next oil change...   ...and if it isn't, I'll call the scrapman to get it ;)

it's right at the front ,at the top ,by the EGR valve
takes longer to wipe the oil off the slam panel that drips than it does to change the oil filter  ;D
and you could still swap the filter tomorrow or next week and not wait for another 5K
abusing the zafira by not doing a oil filter change could zap the power down
or is it too powerful for you  :D

Yeah, reasonably easy to get to, just the engine cover off and the intercooler hose off.  But it was cold, wet and windy ;D

Was going to do some jag fettling but my broadband router packed up last night (1 year and 1 week after purchase)  >:(

So, I've been mostly dicking about with computers like I do 5 days a week anyway. >:(

Did manage to top up the screen wash, check the tyre pressures and change the oil, mind.

Yesterday I washed last winters crud off, having been shamed by a certain storeman turning his nose up at the mildew in the crevices.

Thought I'd give the Sports Car* a new set of discs and pads. Found that one of the caliper pins is more stuck than a stuck thing. It's resisted all attempts to bash the living crap out of it, so it's currently in a PlusGas bath. I've also ordered a new one from the bay**, in case it continues to resist. Bloody thing. And the boot and roof are FUBAR.

*2006 Tigra 1.4. Raging masculinity and power.

**protip - Corsa parts are much cheaper than Tigra parts, despite being identical.

I'd try and avoid buying a corsa roof or boot for the Tigra
even if they are cheaper  ;D
