Title: WDT: Fuel pump asap - early type

with the spade connectors - alternatively a length of loom from a donor car that I could hack some spades on so I can clip my connectors onto it!

 Might have pump will check,, As for connecting it just cut spades off and splice new part of loom in :y

Had a couple of offers, and had to, of course, go for the first one. Much appreciated for your hunting all.

Am thinking as this one has been such a pig to source that the next time I'm near a scrapper I'll grab the bit of loom/multiplug, so I can make up an adapter loom - then again the first pump lasted 209k miles, so shouldnt go pop again until the car's at approx 418,000 miles  :D

will keep you updated on whether I muck the whole job up  :y

Pump fitted, purring like a kitten! Managed to source a Bosch one, made in the same Czech factory as the original, so should win this year's concourse prize at Billing   ::)  (you know, if they're willing to overlook small details like the physical condition of the rest of the car  :D)
