Replacing Bulbs For Heater Matrix
« on: 13 September 2014, 20:20:12 »

Hi guys...
How ya'll doing today?
Im looking to change the bulbs behind my heater matrix (2.5 1995 V6) with some after market coloured LED's.
Can anyone give me some advice on the type of voltage and how many bulbs I'll need. Also if you know a reputable place on-line I can purchase them?
Much appreciated and thanks in advance.
Cheers
Anthony

EH? the heater matrix has no bulbs, its simply a radiator?

If you're on about the climate panel, for PFL, due to light guides, LEDs are unsuitable. For FL, it will involve excessive soldering in the climate panel.

Go for coloured regular bulbs :y Tho the "blue" bulbs will look moldy green in my experience (you know what it does when you blend yellow with blue..). I have red regulars in my MID and they look great :) If manual AC it's very straight forward and easy job, can't say how it is for automatic climate controll panel..
