surely it would be cheaper to just go directly to an independent local tyre place and cut out the "on-line middleman"  :-\
just sorted a pair of 195/65/15 ROADSTONE NEXEN  91H eurovis sport 04 (which have good reviews) for £92 fitted for the Zafira

Black circles have always been cheaper than any local place for me, I take the quote and see if they match it. Some will, some won’t.

That’s seriously expensive.  :o

I’ve been quoted £104 for 17’s with ‘premium’ Michelin PS4’s fitted per corner. That’s before discount, apply it and they drop to £94.

Sometimes the local independents can undercut online, so worth calling around. Last set I bought locally were £20 a tyre cheaper locally than best online fitted price

I never use likes of camskill as by time you have fitted, it’s always more expensive

Jag running costs..

Friend of mine just ordered new Michelin PS4S all round for his Lambo - £750, delivered. Yes, for all four.

Maybe you want to trade up for some cheaper running costs? ;) ;D

The number of cars I see that are on these cheap tyres is scary. Especially when they've lease hired a top spec car. Champagne tastes, lemonade budget. Having said that, a written off car in a ditch means they get to trade up to the latest lease hire car  ::)

Seems very unlikely to me.......Less than £190 per corner, and Lambo's tend to have extremely large tyres on the back.

£1750 sounds about right.

Champagne....not really.

It's a Tata, made in India, built on the same productions lines as the rickshaw by people who are too poor to own shoes. :)

295/30R19 rears are £227 each, inc VAT
235/35R19 fronts are £142 each, inc VAT

;)

Tyres for my BMW are more expensive by a significant margin, despite being significantly smaller.

Over the years I have found MyTyres very competitive on price. I avoid using their fitting stations as my local ATS will fit them quite cheaply, and I know they will do the job without damaging the alloy rims. When online tyre firms use fitting stations, I suspect the price they pay them is no doubt peanuts, and I would not want possibly having the apprentice loose on my wheels. I learnt the hard way with an alloy costing a lot more than an Omega alloy rim, by which time it is too late when the damage has been done.

I seem to recall the XFR rears aren't outrageously sized, so that sounds high, and decent, premium tyres sound be under £500 fitted I would have thought?

Blackcircles give their fitters £14.

I am reluctant to order from one place and fit at another because:
a) its always more expensive
b) its a nightmare if there is a claim on the tyre - I've had a few go faulty over recent years.

That is cheaper than my Datsun  :o I just did a search on black Circles and that size came in at £264 for MPSS or PS2, the PS4s wasn`t offered as an option.

Yup, I am amazed at how cheap they are (relatively speaking)! Granted, if he were to buy "L rated" tyres (OE fitment Lamborghini specials) it would be £200 or so more expensive, but still not bad.

And cheaper than a main dealer minor service at £1500 (thats oil and filters!)  :o :o ;D

We used to fit for 'my tyres' but they only want to pay £7 a tyre inc. balancing. Complete waste of time. Well maybe worth it if you're doing a shit load of tyres but we don't.

Tyre prices have definitely gone up considerably. Toyos for Eeyore are £70 plus vat...and that's me having to fit them and trade price. Ridiculous. I'll stick to ditch finders.

Boss man goes through tyres on his merc like nobody's business. He has Contis and they're usually 180 plus vat a tyre 😬😬😬😬
