Strangely, if I'm on a mission, right foot braking only. I seem to have more control that way. But I'd be a liar if I said my left foot was never used on the stop button.

I agree that you're more planted in the seat if your left foot is up against the foot rest ...... where arguably it should be  ;)

The gas and brake pedal are too close together so .....

Are they any closer tan any other car ...... manual or auto?  :-\ :-\ :-\

(not that I can brake with my left foot)

Practice makes perfect.  :y :y :y
Use your right foot to brake and just follow with your left ..... you soon get the hang of it  ;)

Have you driven a 106 , pedals are designed for very girly small feet in high heels  ::)

You have never driven a real Mini, a Mans car; kids today ::).............. :D :D :D

Usually when I hire a Villa in Portugal or Greece you get some little FWD box like a 106, often I go for the clutch pedal and because my feet are so big, i clip the brake some times.

Usually to the annoyance and surprise of MrsT, not to mention myself!  ;D  ;D

Are you subtly trying to tell us something there Mark ::) ;D
