Tell me more of these 'bumper shells' please? So we're talking the 'bits' you'd paint, and then the textured black plastic parts too, yes? Ta

As you say, getting them is not massively easy, due to their size and there being many hundreds of miles between us, but I'm provisionally interested  :y

Hi DBG, yes they are the main section that has the black textured band at the top, the 'valance' at the bottom and attaches to the car itself.  These do not include the central horizontal wraparound panel that forms the main visible portion of the bumper, that is a separate piece and is also body coloured - although, now I think of it, I do have one of those for the front bumper that you could have for £30 (currently in Polar Sea Blue).

Also, have 2 off-side and 1 near-side lower headlamp trims in Polar Sea Blue. £5 each

For the avoidance of doubt ;) we're talking about part number 1 in this diagram (and similar for the rear bumper) I do also have part number 4 for the front only.  Having the lower valance of the bumpers colour-coded (Elite style) makes a big improvement to the car's looks.

Ahhh this is good  :y

Luckily the front bumper was reversed into by a van shortly before she was laid up, so got a full insurance respray - the rear however is full of the usual knocks and scrapes.

My girlfriend's parents may be going up to Elgin over the next few weeks, and therefore collection is a distinct possibility - but of course the is dependant on if they are going/willing  :)

The only other 'issue' is that mine being a CDX, it isn't colour coded - so the choice of ether spray all the other valances to match, or remove the paint from the bottom of this bumper. But that would be my choice/problem. The car being Diamond Black it's almost impossible to tell if it's colour coded or not!

Just waiting on my girlfriend's parents, basically. If they're heading that way and are willing to pick it up (they can be a bit 'funny' sometimes - I never said that  :y) But please consider this bumper unsold, and if you have anyone else come along, sell it to them. I don't want you to loose a sale, only for me to then let you down because my 'courier service' decides it doesn't want to. Thanks  :)

Stephen,
Hang on to these for me. Had an advisory for mine at last MOT.

No problem - I've got proper boxes with moulded foam inserts to be sure they get to you fully intact.
