Hi, I am after a downpipe for my 2001 Omega Saloon 2.2 Petrol Auto Please as my flexi pipe is totally knackered and my car sounds like it should on a banger racing track.

In that case, I've got a nice, shiny one off a 2001 2.2 which has only covered 37k here.

As Rob says, I'm afraid that's gentlemen's veg! 

You have 2 choices really...

1. Buy a replacement flexi-joint (off ebay or similar) and have it welded into your existing exhaust.

2. Buy a complete replacement section, including cat. Swap it over. Take your old cat to a scrappy and weigh it in to recoup some money.

I don't know for sure what 2.2 cats are worth as scrap value though (what's the betting its more than the £50 I'm offering my good one for???  )

I'm not sure off the top of my head mate, but I recon it would be about £20. 

If you are around on Saturday, I 'might' be able to bring it to the OOF Essex meet in Colchester. That's probably not a huge distance from you is it?

Colchester is 100 Miles from me and I am really not well at the moment. My Omega is lucky to see 20 miles a week at the moment. I will need to have a think about it.
