Are the rear solenoids from the F/L estate the same as the rear saloon solenoids.... TIA :y

Many thanks, I'm on a mission to add some to the spares shed....unfortunately there are a few cars being broken on FB,but the owners don't actually want to take the parts off or post them. So it looks like it's going to be through the pukka breakers yards/ebay and Paypal,maybe they'll turn out to be a little keener to take your hard earned. :y

Worth getting somebody handy with the soldering iron to fit new micro switches to them then you have a known good,n when you need them.
Same here really as when I mailed breakers off fleabay asking for parts they never ever reply so all seems bit pointless advertising them to break up.

I bought my last drivers door solenoid from AutoDoc of the the UK/Germany email info@autodoc.co.uk or https://www.autodoc.co.uk/ for £62.
Vx Part no. 09049702 - AutoDoc "Artical No" 31507 which they list as a "Door Lock".

It's much cheaper to change the microswitches.
.. and they're all interchangeable bar the driver's side front switch, which has an additional microswitch inside. You can fit the motors with the extra switch in other positions in the car, but not vice versa.
IIRC, the rear ones had a slightly different plastic stem on the protruding lever but these can easily be swapped over.

Microswitches are £3 something at RS with free delivery at the moment. Just had mine delivered as one getting temperamental and worth getting two if free delivery as its not always free. Takes about half an hour to do if not done it before and that is start to finish including taking the door lock motor out.

Yes, but that is fine if you have the skills and tools to do that ;)
You can buy the tools and parts for far less than the cost of one door motor.
Personally, I always have a spare, which I use to replace faulty ones, then repair the duff one at my leisure.

That looks right to me.
Its rare to get the "pegs" on the case to clip into the door motor moulding. But they aren't really needed TBH.

Yep. They are the one's I have always used. Direct replacement for the originals but without the pegs and as mentioned they are not needed anyway. I haven't found any higher ampage ones that will fit or else I would have tried one of those for better reliability.

I think they were RS but I just thought from memory that they were slightly different As you have used the ones that you describe I am sure that they do the job.

Had the mico switches for a while now, just not got round to fitting them yet. Did them on my old 2.5 using the guide on the forum http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90642.0 (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90642.0) and worked a treat.
