Hi Tony,

my Omegas have no problems with MOT. My 98 limousine has 10/20, my 01 Design Edition Caravan has 07/21 and my Wintercaravan (built 1997) has 12/21. No problems at all.

Best regards

Rolf

Problem in Germany is, you can not get a license plate without guilty tuv report. So i am forced to let be tested all my 3 Omegas every 2 years.

But of course, i have only one in use....at the time

Hi Varche,

here in Germany you have to test your car by TUEF or similar organisations every two years. Conditions are very hard. The guys there know your car in every detail. But i do it too, so we we get in friendly cooperation. I never had problems with that.

First i am testing, second Tuev is testing. We do the same way, because we both know Omegas problem zones.

Price is 110 €.

Best  regards to Spain

Thanks Andy

Do you know " Dinner for one" ? I thought it was a German produktion by NDR (Northern German Broadcast) in the 60s.

It is the most replayed sketch on all German TV stations. Sylvester without "Dinner for One" is not Sylvester.

Hello all

I am not a friend of Christmas celebrations, but this year i decided to take a long run to visit my old mom in Berlin, using my winter Omega.

1.000 miles in two days.

It was great. My 97 Omega Caravan did a fantastic job.

By the way.... TUEV (MOT) is new since Dec 23. Another two years.....

Best regards

Rolf

Hi all,

last weekend i made a very long distance ride with my 2001 Design Edition Caravan. Cross Germany from Southwest (my hometown Lahr) to the northwest Bremen (my really hometown) to visit an old friend, east to Berlin (were my mother lives) and back to Lahr in the southwest. 1.500 Miles.

It was a great road movie, without any technical problems.

Thankx to my 2001 Omega, friendship is growing every mile.....

Oh, i know

Of course i am German, but in first line i am Bremer, wherever i live. Bremen is a Hanse town, with traditional very good international connections.

I feel that out. I am a European. Nice to live in Europe, hard to lose the British friends.....

EU is a mess today. OK. But the ideas are great. Lets start to reform it, not to split it. Europe must be one and GB is a part of Europe. In my opinion the EU grows to fast. Too many losers on board, we all have to pay for.

thank you all. The car runs great and i am very happy about it.

But i have some problems with the antenna. GSM and GPS are working, but FM is lousy. I thought only the antenna wand was missing, but the socket is damaged. Yesterday i removed it from the car and i think i can repair it.

I will report.

Have a nice week all.

Yes, but mine has different wheels, manual transmission and a double tube exhaust system like the 6 pot engines.
