Just how often is the TC triggered on a 3.2??
In the 9 years I had my car, it probably averaged twice a year. And only one of those occasions wasn't pulling out of hills.

I don't think it would be hard to knock up replacement pins with stainless rod .
either turned to fit ,then mushroom over the spring to hold it,
or
drill both caliper holes to rod size  ,secure both ends of the rod.
are the vented discs not fitted to any other car, yank tank or BMW  :-\

Not often on my Plod one, even in snow, but that had an lsd. Regular 3.2s quite regularly, especially if you drive like TB or have shit tyres.  ;)

Actually allows better heat absorbtion when driven hard as TC actively applies rear brakes on DBW V6 cars. So when driven hard the rear pads, and therefore pins, get hammered far more than on the non vented cars such as your 3.0...

Ergo, the pins wear out more readily. The springs are only thin, so rot out over time regardless of use.
All MFL V6's have exactly the same ABS/TC setup as FL V6s.  And Andy B's Omega was MFL, so had the same TC setup as a 3.2 ;)

But we've ascertained already that you drive quite steadily.

Not sure you've actually confirmed if the car you are dealing with is a later V6 with ventilated rear discs or not? Assuming you have ventilated then you can in all probability re-use the pins. They are not in a beauty contest, just clean them up with a fine wire brush or similar.

The cross springs are a different matter. They corrode, especially around the rivet. So I would clean them far more carefully. More of an attempt at longer term preservation.
sorry mine is a 2.5  :y

If it's a 2.5 V6 then it's highly unlikely to have vented rear discs unless somebody has retrofitted them. So the fitting kit required will be for non vented disc calipers, kits are widely available from any motor factor. The required pins (90509231) and cross springs (90509233) are also included in a set of Vauxhall pads (9193476).
