I'm working on a weekend pass at the moment.  Happy to spanner twirl to strip things down for those that are more cleverer than whot I is.

Would be looking for accomodation but, to be honest, would not trouble me to rough it on a sleeping bag and roll mat somewhere dry.....

Not really needing anything done, just trying to get to the bottom of a misfire thats been bugging me on and off, if time presents itself....

Hi All,

Just like to ask where abouts between Wolverhampton and Telford? It isn't mentioned in any of the threads. I would like to come as the cambelt will need replacing and the water pump as well but would like to know where its being held.

Thanks Paul  :y

i may not be able to do my cambelt now due to being a bit skint, i'll see if i've got the funds to get the kit a bit nearer the time.

i'll still come down, help out and take some pics though :)

i can pm my number to anyone who thinks they might have trouble finding the place off the m54, i'll meet them and they can follow me.

i'm sure you'll all find it ok though but the offer's there anyway:y

oh and what time are we all getting there?

:)I'd like to come along, see some old & new faces. Still a bit skint after Chrimbo but Telford not too far petrol wise.
Is this an overnighter so we can drink more than tea?
If so can i put my airbed down somewhere & snore away happily?
Can sleep one night in the Mig if need be.
Are there any cooking/ bbq facilities so i can cook a curry on site?
My cambelt etc is all fine @ the moment so no need  for help.
Not much help to others mechanically but prepared to get hands dirty as a spanner monkey/part cleaner etc.
If you have enough spanner monkeys my time could be better spent on a few free valets. A hosepipe/tap would help initally but i can bring everything else with me. Can bring carvax for hoovering but wo'nt have time to wetvax carpets/ upholstery in one day but could wash & handwax a few plus bring stuff for your blacks/tyres etc. which i'll happily do for free.
Lastly, could MDTM or another knowledgable member take my car for a quick rag (show no mercy) to let me know of any forthcoming probs. please?
     Cheers, Guy. :y

IF anyone needs a cambelt kit for there 3.0ltr or 2.5 I could possibly help out and get them for you, but won't be able to buy that many. They are the CONTITECH KITS so if you need one then let me know. I can get them for £48 each inc of vat if anyone can't afford the one's from vx at there prices, just a thought like to help out. PM me your car details and I will see what I can do. I work for a motor factors so I can get them no probs.
