I was thinking of this place

http://www.premierinn.com/pti/hotelInformation.do?hotelId=23998

It has a good pub and a beefeater attached :y

Wonder if we can get a group discount?

Does anyone know what the lighting is like in the unit? will we need to bring along inspection lamps? On the subject of bringing I'll be able to provide a large electrical water boiler, disposable cups etc, and the wearwithall to make the essential teas and coffees. Also any other catering equipment that may be required.
It may be an idea that another thread is started to list anything else needed and the people able to oblige

I have a flourescent on a tripod, 2 500w spots on a tripod, and a 500w spot on a short stand. Also a rechargable flourescent.  Plus about 4 leadlamps, though these are 240v and possibly illegal now....

I have a self-contained inverter (eg big power pack) that runs for ever and will easily power a number of lead lamps :)

Yup as EP says i should have the power on by the end of the week, the unit does have lighting but they are probably 20 ft up, so bringing inspection lamps will be a good idea ;)
