They are making big strides with fuel consumption, but I wonder what the real world figures would be.

You could try connecting an external monitor to the laptop to see if the laptop is booting the bios.

Possibly an inverter problem. The inverter is used to power fluorescent tubes that backlight the display. Without these lighting the screen it will appear blank.

The FA are very aptly named as with their current setup that is all England will win in the next 20 years.  >:( >:( >:(

Woy has proven at Liverpool that he can't handle big club football with big players with even bigger egos, he will be even more out of his depth with England. Now what big trophy's has the teams he has managed won?

15 years ago in cycling Britain was nowhere, so they set up a special division to coach and manage the best of the UK talent, using the best techniques and practices their competitors were using, since then they have become a real force on the world stage. Where is the FA equivalent?

Until the FA wake up and smell the coffee with things like a winter break (like Germany have), special academies etc, the England team are going to remain the trophy less bunch of amateurs that they are compared with the very best teams they are competing against.

Sad to say, but I gave up on the English football team and them winning anything along time ago. If they make the quarter finals in any competition, I think they have done as well or better than expected. Several of the top Premiership teams are better than England.  :o :o :o

Why the surprise? All dynamic systems will have secondary effects. 2 million years ago CO2 levels were double what they are now and Anartictica was quite a warm place with plants growing on it, no humans around to change this climate to the current cold phase the Earth is going through, with very damaging ice ages. What cardigan covered, sandal wearing, bearded eco-zealots (and that's just the women  ;D) fail to make a case for is that climate change is anymore that an unproven hypothesis, based on very flawed data, assumptions and calculations, which will produce results even less likely that long term weather forecasts (remember the bbq summer!).  ::) ::)

We get all of the alarm stories about how awful global warming will be with famines etc, but how do we know it won't actually be better?

Wind farms have very limited use as they can't provide a constant base load, so as more are used, you have to have more and more power stations online to cover the fluctuations in the power generated by wind. Thereby, driving down the efficiency of gas / coal powered stations. Imagine having your car running on tick over 24 hours a day, in case you need to use it, it would be great for your fuel consumption.  :o :o :o :o The windmills also only typically produce about 30% of the power that they are rated to produce.

Not withstanding this they could have limited uses like pumping water from one part of the country to the other, or used with hydro-electric schemes, by pumping water uphill into the water reservoir for the constant generation of power.

If LibCons were serious about energy security they would instead be using the windmill subsidies to build thorium nuclear power stations, buy we know that won't happen as most of the Libs and many of the Cons wear cardigans and sandals.  >:( >:( >:(

On which side had the head gasket gone?
as you can see in the pic, no1 piston is very clean, however the rear pot on the pass side was full of coolant & the gasket gone big time.

Similar to what I found on mine, with the near side rear, very bad and the middle cylinder on the same side had gone as well but not as badly. Is there any pitting on the head from the water ingress?

They say you can when a business is in trouble by the new marble floor and fountain in the headquarter's foyer and new logo and rebranding of the company.  ::) ::) ::)

So, while the fools are trying to make us believe how wonderful the EUSSR is with their propaganda videos and flag waving, the project is failing.  :y :y :y

Next, they will have us waving flags and crying on the streets, North Korea style, everytime there is a new Euro financial crisis, that will guarantee a flag waving show of EUSSR and Euro solidarity 5 days a week, while the markets are open, and maybe a bit on Staurday and Sunday as well when the odd weekend crisis surfaces.  :o :o :o :o

It my understanding from where I had log stove and flue fitted that there must be a 25mm gap where it goes through the roof, to stop the roof catching fire, :o a cowl is then fitted the other side to make it waterproof.

I was told not to put anything in the garage within 25mm of the flue for the same reason.

Add 1 million unemployed to public sector, reduce retirement age to 60, tax the rich at 75%. Ops, sorry reading new French President's manifesto.  :o :o :o Not that we should worry, once he wins on the 6th May, come the 7th, French shares will bomb, bond interest rates will double, and S&P and Moody's threaten to downgrade France again. He will be like all self-serving socialist politicians, on the day they take power the manifesto goes in the bin. With this to the electorate.  :P :P :P :P

Whatever the EU scum decide, it will not be good for us plebs, of that you can be certain. But the sound bites from the King Canute conference will no doubt tell us they that they are rolling back the tide of unemployment.  ::) ::) ::)

The Daily Telegraph have included an interactive display for christian name registrations from 1996 to 2010, which is quite interesting. Type in your name and see how popular it is:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/family/9231326/Revealed-how-popular-is-your-name.html

Over the 15 years where my name is unusual only 91 babies have been given the name an average of six babies a year. That's why I like my name as it's unusual. :y :y :y

Got to admit I've never met anybody else called Rods2 in my entire life  ;D ;D ;D

When you renew the roof if you use the self-adhesive undersheet and roofing felt, there is a roofing specialist in Luton that advertise on Ebay, that do these materials at about half the Wickes prices.

There is also a company in Newcastle on Ebay that have very good prices.

If the boarding is damaged or sagging, you will need to replace or cover with 18mm thick marine OSB or ply roofing sheets.

The water from the leak is brown from the bitumen.

If you have stains on the ceiling, use gloss undercoat to seal before repainting.

I hope this is on help.
