Things You Need, But Aren't There
« on: 22 October 2014, 23:15:57 »

A thread asking for details on the C30NE engine prompted me to post this.

What have you got somewhere which you cannot find?  What have you got which will come in handy, but the other half has binned/bagged/sold?

So, for me, the Carlton/Senator Haynes (also the MkII Astra, Astra G, MkII Cavalier, MkIII Cavalier) have all gone to Car Boot sales.

My favourite 'comfy' jeans went in the bin last weekend - not that I knew anything about it until I asked where they were.... Apparently they are old fashioned.

What's disappeared from your life recently?

If I do, they'll come in handy when there's nothing else to light the fire with!  ;D

I was headed to a place called Katowice, which has been variously described (by some Polish folks I work with) as "Oh god, don't go there!", or "Well, I guess it's improved a little recently" or "It's like Detroit" .. the latter makes me think it's a smoking hole in the ground! ;D

My doctor has lost my medical records. :o

I applied for compensation for an injury I got last year but the CICA won't do anything as my records are missing. :(

How can they loose them....they're all kept on computers these days....

If they are saying they have deleted them by accident (and i would press for an answer how they lost them), personally i would mention to them that i would take them to court.....for being incompetent and reckless with your records.....have they never heard of doing backups!!
And even if they are draconian and your records were never put on computer, the same would apply!

I'm guessing these were the injuries you received in London. You've moved house twice since then........I think. Is that how they were lost?

Yes I've moved house a few times in the last few years. I applied for compensation for when I got attacked last year in London.

I don't know what's happened to my records. Everything seems to be missing as they never ask me to go for blood tests for my high blood sugar anymore, or anything like that.

Well it's got me out of seeing the psychiatrist I suppose. ;D

The trouble is I don't know which practice has lost or deleted them. ::)

Somehow I don't seem to have been issued with the winning Euromillions ticket. To whom do I complain?
