General Discussion Area / External render on houses

Anybody had a good external render applied to their house? Specifically the pigment/coloured type that you don’t have to paint?

Our current extension has traditional cement render that is overpainted. I think a combination of warm extension plus the render being on a cold north facing wall is resulting in the render failing badly (paint coming off and cement shearing off in thick slices).

Omega General Help / Bootlid rear light covers

Chaps.
I have a 1997 car. Inside the boot (On the bootlid) there is the rear side of the light clusters (ie where you would get access to change the rear bulbs. However there are no covers (ie you can see the bulb housings etc). See picture below. Is this normal or should there be plastic covers?

Newbie Welcome Area / Hello: looking for an omega estate

Hello chaps and chapesses

I’m going to do the annoying newbie and thing and say “I’m looking for an omega, preferably an estate”.

There we go.

Have been looking for a while and annoyingly just missed out on a couple up my way (aka the proper north). But not giving up, especially as the wife has a baby on the way and I need the practicality of an estate. So omega or rover 75 estates are on the shopping list.

Hopefully post as a regular over the coming months.
