Fantastic, I wish we had thought of this prank at school. We just did stuff like an alarm clock going off in the rafters during final assembly and it lowering a giant pair of red bloomers behind the head teacher!

The EU is like the elephant in the room.

How can it be that only UKIP try and inform the electorate about the EU. Why doesn't an investigative journalist do a series of programmes on TV about the EU?

PS will the Germans get fined for ruining Spanish farmers even if they get EU compensation paid for by US taxpayers? Don't imagine so. In fact the Germans have done EU agriculture a great disservice but no one will take them to task over their irresponsible behaviour. :o :o :o

Too much ground covered for me to make individual comment!

I see that the first MP sentenced to prison over the expenses was released after serving a quarter of his sentence. WHAT IS THE POINT.

Oh and the NHS is a badly run goliath but Southern Cross (privately run) is nowt to write home about either.

Never mind we (with our great allies the French -who?) are now shaping up to sort Syria out now that we have sorted Libya and Afghanistan out. Come on the red, white and blues and white and blues. Lets get em. ;D ;D ;D

You couldn't make it up.

Maybe they could hold a second GP in Britain instead Donington maybe? ;D ;D

No problem, Albs. It's open house at BJ's that day. P.S. Don't forget to bring the Union Jack flag!  ;) :D ;D

I'll make you all some nice cucumber sandwiches - got a job lot on the cheap from Germany yesterday  ;) ;D

That's great BJ! I love cucumber.

Oh, and I hear you like beansprouts, so I'll bring some up. Got a load cheap in Hamburg last week.  ;) ;D

For those that can't make Banjaxxes, there is always the official OOF party on Guffers boat on the Thames. I hope he gets enough Pimms No4, slices of lime and cucumber sandwiches.   ;D ;D

... so I've decided to ditch the £50-a-month Sky subscription and  .....

There's no way I'll ever pay £50 for Sky or anything else on top of the TV license. My kids always thought we were tight for not doing so.  ::)
For me it's the principle as much as the money, I was brought up in a loving, close family but didn't have a lot of money, so we had to make our own fun. I think modern families have too much (mine included) and I'd like to get back to a time when people weren't so spoilt and hand-fed

Ah the time when the word NO was heard. ;D ;D

Fodder for drones. It won't be long before you won't get fed unless you have voted.

We were only talking yesterday about the plethora of cookery programmes on TV. Curious when the average person can't cook, sew a button on, change a plug etc. :o :o

When I was in England, I bought a yellow "box" that had loads of holes in it. You positioned it where you wanted to put the box and drilled each hole to a set depth. Then knocked out the rubble.Loy easier than a hammer and bolster chisel.

Over here I use an SDS drill and have a flap of insulating tape on it for the right depth. Works fine on cob and stone walls.
