My 1998 Omega MV6 Auto
« on: 29 November 2006, 03:25:57 »

Here is the pics as promised.... Gotta say i love the car and first impressions (of 2 weeks ownership) tells me it will be staying for a long time!

Anyway, here is pics:

Exterior first:

Now interior:

Got a few things planned for it, but first i need to add the nokia car kit now my aerial and dashmount bracket have arrived. lol.

Going to get the wheels either replaced with new genuine items or redone asap though, as thats the only bad bit of the car! :(

looks smart !!

if you're going to replace the alloys, a common route is to go for the facelift MV6 alloys - these aren't as susceptible to warping when you go over bumps unlike the ones you currently have :)

The wheels are £236.01 each, not that I am bitter about it  >:(

Yours show same corrosion they all do.  They are also very easily buckled (you'll learn to avoid potholes at all costs).

Nice car :y

Thanks for the comments people. :)

The car cost me £1500.00 - 96k, full service history included as well.

I did think the ironing board spoiler was abit weird for a MV6, but they are both branded with Vauxhalls Irmscher logo and writing. I think it looks pretty good to be honest, and sets it apart from other MV6's as well. :)

I did notice the mirrors, ill get the paint code and order some up and get my mate to spray them when i get chance though. Though it kinda looks in place i think, i didnt even notice it til my dad pointed it out the other day! lol.

I think there were 2 kinds of spoliers, the lip and the larger one? - That one does look a little off though.

Looks good though, i spy a GM zorst there too, looks brand new unless its just been painted?

The seats in the MV6 are brilliant, only beaten by Monaro ones!  ;)
