My Shed!
« on: 16 January 2007, 07:31:35 »

Well after finally changing my driver’s door I thought I'd take some pics.
Still a couple of things to do, the mirror back & a small mark on the back door need T-cutting.
Also the lacquer on the bonnet has faded & is pitted, I’ve tried T-cutting a small area but I think it’s past that  :(

Looks nice BoBo :y

Since a door change can you tell its been changed or does it look mint now.

Reason I ask is I am looking to replace one of my doors but not sure colour match and all that as some doors seem to weather more than others causing a noticable colour difference.

Hope that makes sense

Makes sense. I can't tell any difference & it looks like it's always been there to me.
I guess some can weather more than others, bit of pot luck really.

Yeah thats what I thought still with any luck I may find a good replacement eventually but the breakers for some reason seem pretty steap I contacted a place and they wanted £85 just for the door but not sure if thats a good price, still I may just go ahead with it if its gonna make my car look tidier.

Good to hear you found a good replacement, I just hope I can find a good one aswell. :)

Good luck with your search, I waited months & months for for this one.
In fact Elite Pete found it for me somewhere near Liverpool & Timbuk delivered it (thanks again guys  :y) & IIRC it was £65 without trim & mirror.

I must admit I like your wheels, I currently have a couple I was given sat in my shed and for some odd reason have always missed the ones on ebay, give it time though I'm sure I will find some more. :y

Cheers, I was going to go for 17's, but these Irmscher Softstar ones came up on ebay & were too good to miss & they are similar to the originals so keep the look.
